My Reuters sources have now informed me that Sony has been successful in its battles with British Customs to get the PS2 classed as a computer and not a games console, thereby saving them 2.2% export tax from manufacture base to the UK.

Nintendo are likely to appeal. Hiroshim Haki from Nintendo HQ has been reported as saying that they are trying to get the PS2 classed as a tobacco product as so many users smoke when playing games, thereby making Sony liable for a whopping 800% import duty.

More news as it happens, here on the FantasyMeister channel.

Unfortunately I don't work for the news side of the company (financial stuff actually) but there is a URL for Reuters (Reuters.com suprisingly!) but they tend to supply sources to other people rather than the other way around.

Can I ask you something though, PB? If I need to inform Reuters of news directly, where do I send it? Is there an e-mail address or a URL to post to?

Hm! The clue was in your first post. Oh, you were being Ironic!

Anyway, I'm not allowed to give out any info I read from my company unless it is already posted somewhere, so that's not much help. Company policies. hm!

More news just in.

Controvesy today as plans to release Sega's new game, known as Segagaga, were held back, because of some rather large accusations.

Segagaga, is, as not many know, a new game coming for the Dreamcast, which enables players to act as if they were running Sega, and be in charge of advertising, shipping, and all other aspects.

However, it has appeared, that through the power of the internet, it seems the game is less of a simulation than first thought.

"Thousands of dedicated Sega gamers running Sega for us!" A Sega Ltd employee told us, "We have had a problem with advertising, and we don't really know how to do it. So in step our loyal fans!"

A Sony representive remarked: "Our game of Sonywony, has been designed by our crack team, for many months now. Sega has obviously copied us."

We asked if their game would have the same affects on their business.

"No, there is no need to make the PS2 owners in charge of advertising, as they do most of our advertising anyway."
