It is absolutely astonishing to me that an Industry that made more money than the Movies industry last year has such a poor representation when it comes to programs on T.V.

There is cybernet that is on at a stupid time of night and has a Yank t**t that thinks he is funny commenting on games.

Then there is thumb bandits which is much better, but could do with being on earlier. Whether there is another series however is another question.

We need some more programs on tv which show what games are coming and what they are like to play just like the good old day of Gamesmaster and Bad Influence.

Tis why I was asking about PSWorld on the Sony forum, there just aren't any decent games programmes on anymore, I watch Cybernet - but only to see the games in action as nine times out of ten the yank presenter doesn't have a clue what hes talking abut. They're also notorious for altering a review to be more favourable if the developer gives them a cash incentive.

PSWorld's DVD is essentially several episodes of Cybernet, with a reviewer who knows their stuff, unfortunately its only PS2 games - although you do get the odd multiplatform title. Certainly takes the edge off of the craving for the return of Gamesmaster. ;)

[.tv] used to be great for PC and gaming. Problem is, Sky only made that channel because they were pressurised into making some of their own programmes instead of buying other peoples programmes cheap and putting them on.

So as soon as people got off their backs, they cancelled to channel :( WILL HAMMERHAN (sp?) that CHRIS bloke...AND THE ONE FROM MASTERCLASS...where are you now?

Probably carpark attendents and doing loan adverts, but hey...

Gamesmaster used to be so cool :o).

Anyway, with all these magazines and the Internet, there isn't really much more space for a T.V. Show anymore. Besides, I guess they think that nobody would watch the show, to busy actually playing the games.

Does anyone know why they canceled Gamesmaster??

Even if there were more shows, no doubt you'd think them for babies if they showed a glimpse of a Nintendo exclusive...
