My mate forwarded an e-mail to me, claiming he was sorry for being so superstitious. I read it and had to laugh. It was one of those chain-mails which contained a stupid love poem and it claimed that if you didn't send the message on within 2 hours of reading it, you would meet the love of your life (the next day I think) then die in some horrble accident after agreeing to get married or you would just be unlucky for the rest of your life!! They even had three "real life" case studies of people who didn't send it on. Hilarious.

I deleted it and survived.....

Obvioulsy the people who wrote the message originally are idiots and I just can't believe how stupid/gullible/spineless/superstitious people who fall for such a thing. It only encourages people to continue to write such rubbishy things and it also causes some people a great deal of grief and worry (I can't help but feel sorry for those of weaker minds and disposition).

Many use the excuse "well you never know" but the fact is we do know.

It's all a sham.

I'd like to think most people don't actually believe that an e-mail can kill them.

Gah, I hate them. Sod 'em, sod 'em all mate. I used to get at least two a week, but now they've died down. My friend showed me one saying that her computer was gonna be destroyed if she didn't send it and she was worrying like hell. Meh, damn idiots, nothing happened to her comp, as I asked her to send it to me. Then again, I do have a decent firewall and a monster-of-a-PC.

Hey Beefcake, is that a car I see coming our way? HIT THE DECK!
