Sorry if this appears flippant, but according to DVDBoxOffice, GameCube Timesplitters2 and MonkeyBall2 ship on September 11. Not that it would've been front page news anyway, but seems an odd day to choose to ship something. I'd have thought the US will grind to a halt that day. Wait, isn't that the same day as Turok 2 as well? Has that date some significant meaning, apart from the obvious. 11/9/02? Can't think of anything.

I want to start a campaign so no-one watches TV that day. I bet those gits in marketing are making millions on advertising, or do I just have a horrible view of human nature? Perhaps all the flipping yanks have finally got over the fact that they're not the most important people in the world and realised that they are hated for a reason by then.

Or perhaps not.

Sorry if that sounded really ignorant, but I hate hysteria.

I THINK I get you're meaning. It was bloody annoying for about 2 months after the attacks that people would say 'I don't think that's in very good taste in light of the events of September 11' if you made ANY kind of joke.

Things happen, World Wars, etc. September 11 was tragic, but if you do something disrespectful on that day or mention it, you're not a terrible person. Let 'em ship what they want.
