No. Really, thats how I spent my weekend. And it wasn't as boring as you may think.
I spent all of Saturday (10am-12am) parking cars in a field for the council of swansea, for the 'Escape into the park' dance festival, getting paid a measly 4 quid an hour.
However we where greatly overstaffed (eight of us - all my friends) due to the fact that when we did it the week before, we had three times as many cars, and we asked the couincil if we could have more people for the next event.
Anyways it was brill, as we took it turns for four of us to go in for an hour each. As we were staff we didn't pay the thirty quid to go in, and we could get into everywhere with our yellow council jackets and silver bands.
I met Boy George, Ian Van Dahl and Sonique, who all played brilliant sets on the main stage. Boy george even commented on how utterly useless my girlfriend was!! (because she didn't know where the artists park was).
In the night, the main stage was amazing, especially from my viewpoint, the disabled platform. Took almost two rolls of film, as as all the lovely ladies thought I was a press photographer, so I took loads of pictures of them to admire.
I was also nearly ran over twice by di*khead boy racers showing off, however I had the last laughs when they where booked by coppers.
I also saw three car crashes in the carpark, had to push a car, ripped my trousers and spent hours laughing as the boy racers tried to show off at the ead of the night, only to keep stalling or hitting each other in there crappy fiestas with stripes down them.
Sight of the night - when everyone but staff had gone home: A fleet of Ice cream vans, all identical and all parked next to each other.
Most unhappy person of the day: The drug dealer who buried 20 grands woth of pills in the area a few days before the fence was set up. It was found by a sniffer dog!
