It’s been a while since the last CAW report, so I’ll aim to clear up as many questions as possible over a number of creative issues.
The creative team have received much criticism from certain quarters about the ongoing Cong Man vs Reaver saga. The writers involved had planned to kill this feud off many months ago and it’s become known as ‘The Never-ending’ feud. All I can say to those who have blindly criticised us over this is, has it gotten boring yet? No. So if something isn’t broke, why should we fix it?
DW is still very much a part of our roster despite losing his loser leaves SRW match at free-fall. This is a creative issue which has given DW the time he needed to recover from a slight injury and get into the swing of presenting his own show. He will be written back into the sin-ring scripts when we feel the time is right.
Back on the subject of Cong, the very recent storyline development of Scotty The Doggy hooking up with Da Animalz of Doom was done purely so that Da Animalz would have a third member for a possibly upcoming 6 man tag against Reaver, Jetster amd Mouldy Cheese. However the change has been warmly received and Cong and Scotty are best of buddies backstage so if all are in agreement it could well become permenant.
The Psychiatrist continues to wear the CAW championship well. We took much criticism in the early days for having a ‘gimmick’ champion, but feel his performances have proved a few doubters wrong. His feud with Kevin Nash has helped put him over with the fans too.
I read the recently published CAW statistics with interest when they were piublished. It was certainly no-ones idea for Ice Blaster to be bottom. Hopefully we can find new creative issues for ice Blaster to help him get away from ‘the bottom of the league’. Cabbage Man will no doubt be pleased with his performance though and it goes to show how highly we rate this up and comer.
A few CAWs find themselves with their futures in limbo at the moment as neither we or they are sure what is best for them at this stage. The Likes of Pain, Shaneo, DDD, The Executor, The Exterminator, Flame and Heavy Heat just don’t seem to want to put in the effort needed to be a success around here. Their loss is others gain though as the likes of Scotty The Doggy and RawisAndy have really been given big time opportunities to step up to the plate and are seizing them with both hands.
Much deliberation about Hawk’s future at the moment. He is a legitamate star in his own right, but seems to be a little bit eclisped by the star of his tag Team partner, Cong Man sometimes. The same is true of Jetster being eclipsed by Reaver. Somewhere along the line these two will get a massive opportunity to shine. But for now they must bide their time and continuing working to the high standard they have set themselves.
Everyone here at SRW welcomes the arrival of JobyOne, given the time and effort this young man has the tools to go all the way. We will look to book him with some of our established talent to really put him through his paces in the coming weeks.
On The Injury front...
DW has a slight muscle tear as I mentioned above.
The Cong Man has a torn ulteria ligament. It only causes him discomfort when he kneels on it and he will work through the pain with some heavy bandaging. Cong is aware that one wrong move in the ring could result in him needing surgery, but knowing this young talent he won’t downgrade his performances for any dodgy body part.
Mouldy Cheese has some back pain, but will work through any discomfort.
Whatever that means.
But an enjoyable read.

Yeah, sounds like a good idea as long as we don't drop them all like WWE have been. Where shall we send them? Oxford Valley Wrestling? :D

Maybe we should send them off the developmental territories for a bit :-D
I agree with Matt as well about releasing CAWS.
Keep up the hard work Cong (Y).
There is a lot of unused CAWs about. I think we should release them if they don't post soon.
Keep it up. (Y)
