Y'know the Quick Launch bar which sits on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen? I have three shortcuts in there:
- Show desktop
- Launch Internet Explorer
- Launch Outlook Express
I haven't done a thing to them to change them, except click on them to open the programs. I use them to quickly load Outlook and IE because I get a lot of email and use the web a lot.
Anyway, for some strange reason, instead of opening the programs, clicking on them will display their properties.
Why has this started? How do I change it back?
:-)

Create a new desktop icon and browse to C:/Windows/system/ShowDesktop.scf.
Then just drag the icons for all three to the Quick Launch bar (delete the others first).
