I thought I knew what cables the PS2 was coming with but GAMES latest in store promotional mag says the PS2 comes with an AV Multi-cable.

Now by that do they mean a Euro AV cable (AKA Scart lead) or a normal AV cable (AKA composite cable).

Just wondering as I need to know whether I will need to buy a Scart lead. I have no PS1 cables so that is irrelevant.

Sorry but they are wrong. It is not club policy to give refunds or discounted memberships, unless it has been passed at an offical meeting and with very good cause, and belive me, it hasn't. So, unless whoever told you this is going to refund money out of their own pocket, then don't belive it. Anyway, I sign the cheques.

This rumour is not true. There is no refunds on day tickets. And there is no reduction, should someone wish to purchase a membership.

i here if you purchase a day ticket you can have the cost deducted when you buy a licence is that right surely if you dont deduct it then this would generate more money for the club and its up keep if people would prefer to buy a day ticket instead of a licence then that there choice.if its not deducted then that surely will generate more money for the club an its up keep.or the money from day tickets to be put towards the christmas matches for better prizes for its members more prizes for people like up to 5th place

I asked the guy at Sony to clarify the cable situation and this was his reply:

"The short answer to your question is both! The PS2 is provided with a composite AV lead, and an adaptor which allows the AV cable to be connected to a SCART socket.
I hope this clears things up"

According to all sources, it has a SCART connector on one end.

Apparently, your existing PS1 lead - whether it be RF or SCART - will work fine with your PS2, as it has the same AV connector.
