It will no doubt read "PAL Only" on the box, but word has it that it will work with NTSC units too.
BTW, when does it come out? First it was june, then July, now August 2nd. Please stay as that date! (then I can cash in on imports when I go to florida next week!)

no it's not , my gc is ntsc , and works fine on my sisters TV , because her tv is brand new , and it works on the new tv in the lounge , so ive nicked my sisters tv for my room till xmas when i'll ask for a new tv.
just get a new TV , get a cheap portable one for like £100 and just make sure that the TV is compatible.
the freeloader is region free , so the one that comes out in the UK will work with any gamecube from any region (so it will work on pal and ntsc cubes).
Does it come with it's own White House?

Oh please don't try and associate yourself with Redeye, that notorious freelance journalist! Please!

Really? Most PAL TV's will happily take NTSC signals. Indeed, any TV with an RGB Scart input should automatically change the picture to NTSC! That's how you can have 60Hz mode on PAL consoles (although that's PAL 60 and not NTSC, if a TV does PAL 60 it should do NTSC!)

The only other issue is the power supply... make sure you use a good quality converter!
If it's an issue with playing PAL version games, just wait for the Action Replay or the Freeloader.
