flamingtext and similar pages aren't actually that hard to create. The technique can be achieved just through a combination of PHP and GD with some nice fonts in the fonts directory. All you are doing is choosing a font, size and background, and writing your name/message.

A logo doesn't have to be an image, it's something you remeber the website by and something they consider to reprasent their website. The cooltext.com and flamingtext.com websites only create simple logos but then, they are realtime images! not sure wether it's php or asp but it's darn hard to make something like that. :p
Download Fireworks and make your own.

When I think of a logo, it is usually a picture with the name of a comapny printed across it in stylish font, like the SR logo, except it isn't very stylish.

When someone says logo what do u think off. do u think of a little shape with writing on it or just a style of writing. i search for site that let u create free logo's. every site that came up was just changing the weriting to some cool. i dont class that as a logo.

Sorry I couldn't help you, Alex. Why do you need a website for it, anyway? Why not use a program on your computer and then upload it?
