A D-VHS recorder! 515 lines resolution (15 more than DVD). Plays your old VHS tapes, and can record in analogue or digital modes. If you record in analogue mode - you can share the tape with other normal VHS machines. Recording in digital mode provides the increase in quality. I think this is an example of a technology which will fail to get started. Nobody wants another tape system!
