I finially got the xbox dvd remote and everything but for region 1 dvds I need a converter to change it from black and white where can I buy one for cheap???

you mean the other way round mate 60Hz NTSC to 60Hz pal. if your getting a stable NTSC picture than a converter will work, i've seen one at around £40 which you can use on other equipment and practicly any console, chat to me on MSN i'm on your list somewhere ;)

60Hz is 60Hz whether on a PAL or NTSC version TV. A frequency doesn't change because of the region.

If your TV isn't displaying 60Hz properly, then maybe it just can't.

And the DVD Region X is available for the X-box.

I think its very unlikely you can convert a PAL only TV to an NTSC TV. I think some TV's have both signals.

Someone else maybe able to prove me wrong that might be some converter box or summit.

Yes I know that but you can convert uncompatable tv's to work
