It’s been ages, but they’re finally out (well, on 11th). The Original cuts of the Star Wars trilogy (That’s IV, V and VI).
But after all this time and after most people have shelled out for the other DVDs, is it worth it?
The DVDs are only around till the 31st December (just to entice you more) and contain the theatrical versions from the Laserdiscs, rather than an anamorphic version from the original print (which Lucas had destroyed) on the SECOND disc, alongside the current version.
ie: This is a cheap way for them to appease the fans and not have to work too hard to do it.
