I hear what you are saying about the short notice - but the lure of a free wireless router and three months at 7.99 and a blaze of publicity are proving hard for me to make her change her mind!
If I could tempt her with a wireless router and 3 months at a reduced rate? then freeola may be more easy for me to sell to her, I think its a corner of the market that freeola could capture if they wanted to.

I know you've addressed this to 'Freeola' but FWIW...
"long term contracts are not an issue as she quotes I would need my internet so if long term contract is cheaper lets go with that..."
The issue here is if your friend chooses to sign up with another provider that has a long term contract if it proves to be 'dead loss' with terrible customer service etc. and she wants to leave she'll have to pay to get out of the contract! That's where Freeola's 1 month contract comes in to play.
If she's a low internet user then the Freeola 19.99 package may suit her - I've signed up a few clients to this package. Tell her to read the 'small print' on some of the offers she may have seen from other providers!
I'll let Freeola address your other comments.
