With E3 finished and all the news booming we finally understand the future games and what they are like. We are in for a real treat as soon as you pull down the page saying August on your calendar and see the word September in big writing, what with Mario Sunshine, Starfox and so many more being released. But just how can you afford all the games when there are so many. Well threat no more as here is an easy guide to just which games you should buy.

1. Who can you trust?
Firstly if you want a descent game look at the developers of the game. If Nintendo happens to pop up then look at past games like Mario 64 and Luigi's Mansion then you'll see that this game released soon should be a real must buy.

2. Graphics And Sound.
Look at the game from an artists point of view and ask yourself this, do these graphics suit the game, do they please me? GT Concept and Resident Evil are good examples of great graphics. Take not.

3. Lifespan.
This is really important. Looking at Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion and James Bond Agent Under Fire you should be very cautious around games now. A short game is not really worth buying.

4. Release Date.
Not that important, but see if the date suits you. If it's out in 2003 around Autumn then forget about it for a while. Worry about the games that are coming out soon.

5. It's Good To Talk.
Look in magazines to see if there are previews and possibly Japanese reviews of the game. This is always a huge help if you're not sure. Ask friends and family for news and advice. People always here interesting stuff about future games. Look on the web and also try here on S.R.

6. Storyline.
Does the story you've heard make you want to play the game? Does the fact that someone is pretending to be Mario and spreading graffiti around an island make you want to stop this? The storyline is important and should be interesting.

7. Multiplayer?
Do you need multiplayer? If so look at the fun factor of it. It should make you want to invite three friends over and play it for hours. Only important if you want to play multiplayer.

8. Compare.
Take a look at other games being released around the same time zone. Compare them to the game you're interested in. If you want Turok Evolution look at Timesplitters 2. Which is better? Which looks better visually? Which has the better multiplayer and single player modes.

9. Just another game? (Yawn)
Is this just another button basher wrestling game like Smackdown? Does the gameplay seem very similar to Tony Hawk 4? Have you seen it all before? Look at the game and see if it is similar to others. If it's too similar the forget it.

10. Sequels
Mario Sunshine and Legend Of Zelda are games that have been long awaited and looking at Mario 64 and previous Link Adventures you're shore for a winning game here.

11.Popularity.
See if anyoone else wants the game. If the game is looking quite popular to people then it may be worth a look.

12. Charts?
But if it's not released then it won't be in the charts. Wrong! If you take a peek in the Japanese or American charts see if your game is there. See if it's selling well and how popular it is.

13. Money.
If you want more games than you can afford and they all have passed this test, then get a job if you don't have one.

Now you know how to find a good game in the future. After September things are looking very sweet for all gamers whatever the console. Look out for Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Starfox, Resident Evil, GTA Vice City, Turok Evolution and MechAssult are ones to look out for. I hope you enjoyed this.
