To start with, it is Spiderman. Don't underestimate the fun factor potential in all the web swinging action - the animation, abilities and fun are all spot on. I could spend hours swinging around Manhatten, grappling buildings, shooting web...
Second, while its said there are far too many opportunities to save, this makes it a very relaxed, tension-less game. Since its only about 5 minutes between saves, this means you never get hair-jerkingly frustrated and therefore don't storm off in a paddywhack (love that word).
Since this is only a quick point, I have this to say: Spiderman is what a game should be - fun. Not too difficult, but still it offers a challenge and you will undoubtedly die a few times. However, since (in my opinion), the mission-based and saving structure is brilliant, you don't often get 'stuck'. What's more, running around as Spiderman is a blast, which means you'll just want to keep on going. You may think something is challenging, but at least it is a task which you won't mind repeating because the game is so fun to play.
Spiderman is quite short though, which makes it almost a perfect rental game. My advice: Go buy, or if not, go rent!
Level 1 is still my faveourite, i could spend hours swinging through the city.
I am on the level named "Chemical Chaos" its quite difficult.
Spiders shoot web from their backsides.
Some spiders are venoumous
Some spiders can shoot poison barbs from their backs
Some spiders can swim without breaking the surface of the water.
