Not exactly a classic debate, I know, but I need a game.

I want a kind of arcady pick-up-and-play game that'll last a while so have narrowed it down to these 2.

man you made the right choice with SSX Tricky. This game is pretty cool and takes a while to unlock all the goodies. have fun.

It just has to be SSX Tricky

Let me put it this way: SSX Tricky really, REALLY rocks. Can't go wrong with Tricky.

After playing FFX for 100+ hours, Ithink almost any other game could be considered pick-up-and-play.

But anyway, I've ordered Tricky anyway id you wondered.

I havnt played VF4 before but SSX Tricky is really good fun.

SSX Tricky is far more pick up and play
but VF4 rox...but takes time to master...with loadsa cool moves, counters, reversals and phat combos
and i didn't think i would really like it but the AI mode is really cool

SSX Tricky is infinitely more fun. VF4, however, requires you to be master before you succeed at it - not the ideal arcade experience.
