Ever played Balders gate: Dark alliance on the PS2? well I have. I played it through twice with my Boyfriend. I took the female sorceress Character while he played as the Babarian.

What I was going to say was...

I think that playing a gamme co-operatively brought us closer together.

It got me thinking that more games could be co-operative and maybe this would make them more fun.

For example wouldn't a co-operative mode in GTA3 be brilliant, you could go on rampages together, join forces to beat people (ala streets of rage), and then share your spoils.

I think gamers often have a bad name for being either loners who play games like tomb raider and resident evil, or arrogant and comnpetive

All i can say is long live co-operative gaming and bring on Balders Gate 2!

Co-operative modes are great, if you are sick of deathmatch or maybe if you are a better player than your friend/sibling, then co-op modes can be more fun, i quite liked the one in Perfect Dark, its so much easier with more than one person. And much more fun.

Co-operative modes can be very good.

Time Crisis 2 and Namco's Smash Court Tennis both work well on PS2.
