This game would start off with you choosing who you want to play as. There is a choice between Alice ( a nice housewife ) and Jim (an ordinary business man type.)
Then there would be a short FMV sequence with you nipping down the off-licence, and your husband/wife being stabbed to death ( you don't get to see the killer). Upon returning from the off-licence you find your husband/wife dead. fearing a domestic dispute, someone has already rang the police and they find you standing over your wife holding the knife.
You go down for 20 years for a crime you did not commit. Then the game starts off properly. You are in Parkhurst prison. It's your first day, and you need to show the rest of the convicts that you aren't going to let them walk all over you. You can do this by starting a fight with the biggest one or simply by making friends with them.
Your main goal is to try and escape the prison, without being killed by another con or a sadistic gaurd. You will be offered drugs whilst inside and your cell will be routinely searched every day by a guard who particularly hates you.
If you do manage to escape it will be really difficult to a)get off the isle of wight
b)get information from people who might know who killed your wife
c)hunt down the person and prove your innocence ( whilst seeing that they get what's coming to them)
and d)do all this while evading police capture.
the game could be called something like 'convict' or '2860348' ( this being your number in prison).
It would build up to a massive surprise when you unmask the killer. In fact, it could be a different person each time you play, thus adding massive replay value. The game would probably be released on the PS2 ( I wish) or the X box.

P.S. don't tell me this is similar to the Fugitive because I already know.
