Hacking Aliboy was actually slightly easier than Uplink shows it ;)

depends on exactly what kind of hacking you are going on about. Its quite easy to download scripts run them, send them to people and gain unauthorised access.

But thats totally different to writting your own programs to overload the stack on other people's computers and force data out into memory which you can read and gain access to important data etc.
Or find passwords and access names to get into systems.

There are many ways to do it. The harder more advanced ways are very hard to pull off unless you know what you are doing.
