Bridging the gap seamlessly between Jimmy Eat World and the Deftones, Finch have created a sound, incorporating Emo, Punk and Metal, but this isn't a Nu-Metal band...far from it in fact.
One of the surprise albums of the year for me.
Recommended songs:
What It Is To Burn
New Beginnings
Letters To You
Post Script
Also recommended:
Sikth - "Let The Transmitting Begin..."
GlassJaw - "Worship & Tribute"
Anyway, to see my opinion on their latest album, go to www.unitepunk.tk and then to reviews and click on the finch album. Sorry about the shameless plug... :-)
Machine Head Burn my eyes. Possibly the best metal album ever. Amazing vocals from Robb Flynn, Logan and Robb creating electrifying riffs and Chris Kontos with amzing drumming. It is a totally amazing album... buy it
