Welcome to this week’s edition of Eclipse, where SRW is still reeling from the aftereffects of our latest PPV extravaganza, FreeFall, the ramifications of which are still reverberating around the world of wrestling. One such effect will be resolved tonight, as we have an epic tag team match up with lots at stake – this is often bandied around with no meaning, but trust me when I say careers are genuinely on the line tonight, as the team of The System Fighters (The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) and Grandprix), as chosen by Cong Man’s nemesis Reaver (Ant), will compete on his behalf.

Da Animalz (Hawk (AfroJoe) and Cong Man) will have a helluva task on their hands, as nobody doubts the pedigree of this assembled team of Champions, the HardCAW champion Grandprix (who still must be feeling the physical – and mental – effects of his epic with Hawk (AfroJoe) at Freefall) and the CAW Heavyweight Champion The Psychiatrist (MikeAll). Who knows what sort of interaction there will be between Hawk and Grandprix? To make things worse, the CAW Tag Team Titles are on the line, and as things stand they are the last remaining link to Cong Man’s future in SRW!!

*Cut to backstage to show Reaver (Ant) watching tonight’s events unfold in front of a television set*

Reaver’s got more than a passing interest in this match! I am sure he will be as interested as we are in this match and the potential ramifications of it…

“FIGHT THE SYSTEM!” Here come the challengers to a rapturous ovation from the people in this arena. The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) and Grandprix, fresh from their recent title victories, will be keen to add to their collection of gold. I’m sure the Cong Man stipulation isn’t weighing too heavily on their mind, I’m sure they just see him as another obstacle to a belt. They step into the ring and wait slowly for the Tag Team Champions.

“IT BEGAN IN AFIKA-A-A-A!!!” Here come Da Animalz to a cacophony of boos from this sell-out crowd. Tag Team title belts around their waist, Hawk (AfroJoe) is looking intense, and Cong Man is looking assured but I bet there are just a few butterflies in that muscled stomach! He approaches the ring slowly and gets in the ring. The four men stare each other down as Hawk and Grandprix, the old foes, set outside the ring for this momentous match up.

DING DING DING!!!

The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) and Cong Man are up first, circling each other in the ring. Cong Man seems to be a little hesitant – one false move and he could be outta here for good! They lock up, quickly turned into a side headlock by the Psychiatrist, but Cong Man pushes away again, making the crowd a little agitated, they’re here to see some action dammit! Cong Man finally decides to take the initiative, to the excitement of the crowd. Irish whip by Cong Man, and then he rams his knees into the gut of the Psychiatrist, temporarily stunning him, which allows Cong Man to hit a Powerslam! He goes for the early pin…

1…….

2…….

Shoulder up! Swift punches again by Cong Man and another swift pinfall attempt…

1…….

2…….

Shoulder up again!! The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) is showing the resiliency that made him the CAW Heavyweight Champion at Freefall. Both men rise to their feet. Cong Man tries to mount another attack by the Psychiatrist hits a suplex. He drags Cong Man into his corner, and tags in Grandprix as they start to work on a slowly faltering Cong Man with kicks in the corner, stomping on his body in the most sickening fashion, much to the annoyance of Hawk (AfroJoe), who is berating the referee to split them up, which he eventually does. Grandprix drags Cong Man into the middle of the ring…Irish whip into the turnbuckle…shoulder barge, and then grabs the back of his neck and rams his face into the turnbuckle. Cong Man collapses on the mat…Grandprix climbs to the top turnbuckle as the crowd roar in anticipation…

But Hawk pulls the ropes! OOWWW! That was the screech of Grandprix as his family jewels were just crushed on the turnbuckle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts (geddit?). While Cong Man slowly recovers. You can almost feel the intensity between Hawk and Grandprix; there is still a lot of bad blood between them from Freefall. Grandprix drops into the ring as Cong Man looks to tag in Hawk…but The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) pulls him away! Cong Man is yet to tag in his partner, and this could affect the outcome of this match.

Grandprix goes over to Cong Man. Quick stomp to the head, and he puts him in a rear chinlock…but quickly broken up by Hawk (AfroJoe). Grandprix is getting seriously peed off with Hawk now! As Grandprix starts talking trash with Hawk, Cong Man tries to make the tag…but The Psychiatrist pulls him back in again!! When will he get a rest! Grandprix drags Cong Man to his feet, Irish whip into a clothesline, followed by a swift elbow drop! Grandprix goes for another clothesline, but Cong Man reverses…straight into a SPINEBUSTER! Great strength displayed by Cong Man there. Now can he make the tag?! He goes slowly over to Hawk as the crowd get louder…Grandprix is slowly getting to his feet…but Cong Man tags in Hawk!

The two run to each other…and then stop! They’re staring each other down, we all know the history…can you feel the intensity? Hawk (AfroJoe) makes the first move with a vicious left hand! And another to the back of Grandprix, but he reverses and tries a small package…

1…………

2………...

BROKEN UP BY CONG MAN! He’s not going to leave SRW that way, that’s for sure!

Hawk quickly recovers and starts grappling with Grandprix once more, and gets the advantage, hitting a snap suplex! As Grandprix slowly recovers, Hawk waits behind him…HAWKMISSION! HAWKMISSION! He’s on the verge of ta…But the PSYCHIATRIST BREAKS IT UP! The Psychiatrist (MikeAll)tags himself in (!) and makes a beeline for a pi$$ed Hawk. He starts hitting him with a flurry of punches…TORNADO DDT! He goes for the pin…but quickly broken up by Cong Man, who gets in the ring - prompting Grandprix to get in the ring as well!! Cong Man goes to Grandprix, and Hawk (AfroJoe) to The Psychiatrist …THIS IS CHAOS!

Grandprix and the Cong Man are hitting each other with punches, with Grandprix then hitting Cong Man with a DDT that knocks him to the floor! Hawk and The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) are battling it out…kick to the gut by Hawk…HAWK SCREWDRIVER! HAWK JUST HIT HIS FINISHER!! But just as he’s celebrating, FINISH LINE BY GRANDPRIX TO HAWK OVER THE TOP ROPE!! THIS IS CARNAGE!!

Grandprix spots something out of his eye…where is he going? He…he’s got the Tag Team Title belts!!! He brings one into the ring and goes over to a faltering Cong Man. Grandprix lifts the title belt high above his head and…BRINGS IT CRASHING DOWN ON CONG MAN’S SKULL!! AND AGAIN!! AND AGAIN!!

How ironic is it that it was the tag team title that kept Cong Man in SRW, could it be the thing to put him out? The referee drops for the count…

KICK OUT!! KICK OUT!! HE’S STILL IN!!!

WHAT THE HELL??? WHO’S THIS!!!!!!

As The Psychiatrist slowly gets to his feet…WHAT’S THIS! A masked man runs through the crowd, armed with a 2x4 wrapped in barb wire!!! WHO THE HELL IS THAT! The mask is preventing us from seeing who it is, it appears to have red symbols on it! The mysterious masked individual slides into the ring…OH MY GO…HE JUST TOOK OUT GRANDPRIX WITH THE BARB WIRE!! THIS IS SICKENING!!! HE TURNS…AND TAKES OUT THE PSYCHIATRIST!! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!

HE PICKS UP CONG MAN AND DROPS HIM ON TOP OF GRANDPRIX!! I DON’T BELIEVE THIS!!

1………………….

2………………….

3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONG MAN HAS SURVIVED! HE IS STILL IN SPECIAL RESERVE WRESTLING!!! THE MASKED MAN RUNS AND ESCAPES THROUGH THE CROWD, BUT CONG MAN DOESN’T EVEN NOW HE’S SURVIVED!

*Cut to Backstage*

Reaver’s going crazy, he can’t believe Cong Man is STILL in SRW!! He starts trashing the locker room, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this mad! Reaver picks up a mic and screams right into the camera, his bloodshot eyes bulging into ours! “Cong Man, I WILL NOT REST UNTIL YOU ARE GONE, AND THIS TIME I DON’T MEAN OUT OF SRW, BUT GONE FOR GOOD!!” What the hell does that mean??? “AND AS FOR THAT MASKED MAN, I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I HAVE HUNTED YOU DOWN LIKE A DOG…AND THEN YOU CAN JOIN CONG MAN IN HELL!!!!”

What a match we have seen here tonight, and what does the future hold for these men? And who on Earth was that masked man???? Could it be…Kevin Nash? We know he has his problems with The Psychiatrist and this would be a perfect way to screw him out of another title? Could it be…nah…could it be…a returning DW, out for revenge?!? Who knows whom the masked individual is? That’s up to you guys to speculate! Tune in next week for SRW Eclipse to find out!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
NOTE FROM RM18: Hope you enjoyed the match! Make sure you closely follow future developments to see who the masked man is that helped Cong Man, Reaver’s reaction to Cong Man staying and his quest to find out who the masked man is as he goes on a rampage of SRW, even doubting those close to him!!! Find out next week!

Nice match. Packed with action, and that secret guy in the mask was put to great use.... it helped us keep the tag titles. :D

STD is still staring at Reaver and Reaver is doing exactly the same back. Its Icon vs Icon here

STD "You think it was me?? I have only just arrived in the arena!"

Reaver: "Which was exactly the same time DW saw a masked man leaving the arena!"

STD: "I told you...It...wasn't...me"

Reaver walks off and the camera swings towards Reaver who smiles and then searches for the next in line to be "Interviewed"

Thanks for the comments.

Plus, good stuff Cong Man and mXtheared, this questioning and suspicion was just what I was aiming to provoke. Hopefully this can develop into a compelling storyline, with plenty of twists and turns.

DW walks into Reaver in the back.

"Hey, Reaver, if I were you, the first person I'd question is STD. He stabbed me in the back...who's to say you won't be next? And Reaver, if you think I did it, then I'll tell you now, don't waste your breath, as I didn't!"

STD walks up to Reaver, who is staring at DW. DW walks off.

Fantastic match there, full of action all the way and literally kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the interaction between the four characters, especially with their history and status. I was interested to see how the System Fighters would react to being chosen by me, considering we've never been the best of friends, but I gave them a title shot and they took it...and I certainly can't blame them.

But I most certainly can blame...blame who!? Who the hell was it!?

As Reaver, I promise that in the ensuing weeks, I will be questioning everyone. I'm no Stone Cold, with me you are innocent until proven guilty, but that doesn't mean I'll trust you.

Cong Man...you survived again. But I have my ways, and I'm afraid that you are still hanging onto your SRW career by just a mere thread.

The investigation starts tomorrow, when this week's SRW Eclipse has begun.

The cameras turn again, this time to The Coach, who's backstage.

Coach: I think I've found the masked man.

*Coach runs up. It's DW. He's got sweat dripping off him and he out of breath*

Coach: DW...was that you out there?

DW: Noo, don't be stupid. I've just been working out with The Rat (Allardini) and Shaneo. Anyway, I'm off now, Burnt Out is waiting.

*Coach turns around and sees the back of someone with a mask on, running out of the arena. Could this count DW out of the equation?*

*******************************

Sorry, if that was un-expected, but I decided to twist it a little. Could it have been DW? Could there have been someone covering for him? Like, the 'Who ran down Austin?' saga. Anyway, like I say, he is in my eyes the best SRW writer, and that just goes to show why I consider him the best. Another great match from RM. And like I say, he's the master of un-expected climaxes! Brilliant stuff.

The cameras cut to backstage where the Cong Man and Hawk are being attended to by trainers in the medical room. Hawk speaks first...

"Congie that was a masterstroke, the masked man, excellent, but you could have told me your plan. Who was it by the way?"

"Hawk, I have absolutely no idea who it was, or why they did it."

Hawk looks stunned. Camera fades out.
