I have been told that Hidden And Dangerous is most like it, but i have also been told about rainbow six and Tomy Clancys, and all loads of different names.....
Here is what I want:
Team based (like medal of honour and halo)
Ability to drive vehicles
Can you tell me:
a) which game on DC is most like MEdal Of Honour
b) which DC games are team based (eg. with marines)
c) which is the best World War FPS on DC
Thanx, a lot, I hope you can help cos im desperate to have a 'Halo' and 'Medal Of Honour' type game on my DC!
It's a good game. Very tactical and quite difficult to get through the missions without losing too many of your soliders.
If I remember correctly I think you can play it in both 3rd person and 1st person.
Is rogue spear better than rainbow six, and do u get to work with more than 4 marines?
Do you recommend H&D as the best squad based FPS on DC?
Thanx for your help anyway.
Hidden and Dangerous:
Very difficult game, I own it on PC and it requires a lot of time but isn't very rewarding. This game isn't a FPS its a 3rd person squad based combat game where you can drive almost anything, was a bench-mark PC title but the Dreamcast version was not up to scratch. If you like War games, like squad based combat, like driving vehicles and like a game with stealth elements then get this, otherwise stay well away as this game only appeals to very hradcore gamers who are not scared of a *VERY* difficult challenge. At under £7 This game is a bargin, see if you can pick it up 2nd hand for under £5 as it is definatley worth it for that!

Rainbow Six:
I also own this game on PC but I do not like it at all. Aiming is required to be spot on and you need the reflexes of a Jedi knight otherwise you are smoked within seconds. It is a squad based combat game but I found it very hard to get into and I never settled into playing it all. Enemies never miss, your team is useless and the game is very dated in terms of graphics and gameplay. You can switch between 1st and 3rd person view points but there aren't any playable vehicles included in the game. If I was you I would stay well away from this one, having said that I haven't found any Tom Clancy game playable, I just hope Splinter Cell sorts this out!

Quake 3 is probably your best bet although I have only read about this game, read up about Quake 3 as it may not appeal to the style you require. The game has scored above 90% in all the reviews I have read and the graphics are said to show off the true capabilites of the dreamcast! If I was getting a Keyboard, mouse and FPS this would be the one I would choose! As far as I am aware there aren't any vehicles available but there are points where you can team up and fight. I played Unreal Tournament on PC quite extensively but the game is very linear, the game has no story line and all you do is fight computer bots (a bit like a multi-player game) but if you are getting a Keyboard etc then this is definatley worth picking up, it is only £4.99 at EB so it is worth a look! I am a big FPS fan so I too am looking to get the accesories required to play with my newly purchased Dreamcast! :-)
Hope this has helped you make up your mind, otherwise just ask and I will explain more about each game! You could always get an Xbox with Hal... Forget it I am only kidding!
