Well I think MOH: AA is a great game, despite the fact that EA shipped it early to bring the money, it didn’t really spoil the end result much.

Anyway, the add-on pack out soon is looking and sounding very promising and should hopefully fix a few things missing from the original, like more use of allied soldiers and a wider selection of varied levels. I personally hope they put more tank-based levels in there, as that was the high point for me in the original game.

I’ve finally found some info on it from gamespot, and here’s an extract of what the expansion pack has to offer.

Payers will assume the role of a new character, Sgt. Jack Barns, who's an OSS operative sent into Normandy with the 101st Airborne on the night before the D-Day invasion. The game will start with Barns parachuting from the back of a C-47 under the cover of darkness. Once--if--he lands safely, he'll rendezvous with a group of British commandos, and they'll team up to fight through the European countryside, eventually participating in the Battle of the Bulge, and finally assisting in the siege of Berlin. The intense sorts of battles from the original Allied Assault are still intact in the expansion pack. One of the mission objectives of the Battle of the Bulge, for example, is simply to survive a non-stop barrage of German artillery. Huge plumes of snow and dirt will fly up into the air, and trees will get snapped in half as the powerful onslaught of shells pounds Barns' position. Players will have to frantically run from foxhole to foxhole in order to seek shelter while avoiding the death from above.

Yep, seen the screenshots, their a little plain noe like, but it still looks good. I like the sound of the airdrop over normandy as well as the improved team combat from the orignala game. Should be great.

I only just got this months PC Gamer(been on holiday), and saw my first screen shots of the addon, and some details of whats in it(Enfield Mk4, sweet). I really want this.

I also saw some screenies of AvP 2 Primal Hunt, knew this was coming for a while now, but first screenies, look OK, just OK.

After you've planted the last of the explosives, head back towards the middle of the U-Boat - to where the periscope and so on is. There's a big ladder, going up. Go up it and you can get out.

Does anybody know how to escape from the U-boat in MOHAA after planting the explosives? I've looked everywhere for an escape hatch and I can't find it.

The battles are sounding ace as well, fighting through the battle of the bulge ect.. it should add to the authenticity of the games surroundings. I'm also glad to see a more heavy inclusion of team A.I. play, as fighting alongside fellow troops didn't happen as often as I would have liked in the original game. Fingers crossed it doesn’t end up as a cheap cash in of the game, as I really want some new challenges from MOH.

So the origanal game was more like a playable Sving Private Ryan, I would say this add-on is more like Band of Brothers. The Airborne drop over normandy sounds interesting, as do the other major battles in the game. Hope it's as good as I expect it to be.
