now that the freeloader disc is being released (allows import originals to be played on any gc) the panasonic gc is a great option both from games and dvd perspective.
Anyone got suggestions on where to get one (as SR dont do them)

Yep, Lik-Sang get my vote too, they sell pretty much everything you could ever dream of in terms of gaming - go take a peek. That is upto and including the good old SNES modification (which I will be doing myself quite soon), for removing region lockout and adding a 50/60Hz switch. They can be pricey, but you'll find that if you can think it up, they generally have it or are willing to do it.
