There are many people out there like me who gave the XBOX a chance,however how long can it last against sony if peolpe are going to be narrow minded about the XBOX it is well known that the XBOX is the most powerful console ever!!and its capabilities are great, however when the money doesnt come in, are the games going to.
The same thing happened with the dreamcast and in the end the N64 which was amazing and loved by lots. But what the XBOX needs is the games that will wipe the floor with its competaters.And the possibilities for games are great.
Does anyone know of any great games out now or in the next few weeks.And by great i mean GTA3, HALO , Max Payne.?

Good point Nomad, between now and christmas the Xbox has got some truly amazing titles due out, but at the moment there aren't too many titles out worth getting unless you are a sports fan. These are the only games that I would consider getting if I was you:
Project Gotham Racing
RalliSport Challenge
Amped
Spider Man: The Movie
Max Payne
Halo
Dead Or Alive 3
Munch's Oddysee
Jet Set Radio Future
James Bond 007 In Agent Under Fire
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
Moto GP
Championship Manager
Ultimate Fighting Championship: Tapout
Hunter: The Reckoning
Those games are what I would call AAA titles but everyone is partial to different styles. If you check IGN they have an editors choice list, click Xbox, then reviews and then sort with score 9, this will seperate the games and show you the ones that scored 90% and above. Also try the games that have late 80's scores (Max Payne got 89%) becuase there are some great games there too.
Last week becuase I am waiting for the big releases from August onwards I decided to pick up a Dreamcast with Shenmue and a VMU, this cost £57 which was just over the price of a game and trust me, it was well worth the extra £13 just to play Shenmue alone! Try those games that I listed above becuase I am sure you will enjoy the majority of them, if not do what I did and wait for the blockbuster hits becuase between now and christmas we will be showered with gifts from Microsoft and the only problem you will have then is finding the money to buy all the games you WANT!

For instance: some say Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is okay, whereas I say it's great.
The so-called "Triple AAA" titles don't always live up to the hype.
I would rather play Rez than GT3 - but that's just my personal choice.
If I like the idea/concept of a game then I'll buy it, regardless of whether it gets a good review or not.
So I can't tell whether their are any "great" games coming out soon, because I haven't played any of them yet.
