I always get annoyed when movies wait about a year to be realeased to buy after being out in the pictures, im not sure why but i think it's so they have time to advertise but they dont need a year to take a few clips from the movie and put them on tv. do they?
ok fine i was wrong, i didnt really think about it, i was just looking for things to write in because i was bored.

Do you know what they use at the cinema to play films? F I L M
They don't just plug a video player into a projector, the films are actually on slides (well, sort of). They are on film reel. Not only that, it takes quite a while to put them onto Video/DVD format and even then they have to settle things like copyright, publishing and correct region fees etc. It takes longer than you think. Plus, they have to make as much money as they can from cinemas first, duh. They're in it for the money, not for you're benefit.
