After looking through a few sites and magazines, I am extremely confused about this game.
I used to love Unreal Tournament on the PC; I loved the feeling of killing (don't ask why.) The way that the whole arenas were covered in blood and teddy bear style skins (I loved them!) screaming childish words. All the weapons on Unreal were awesomely futuristic. That’s what I loved about the game; it was futuristic and unrealistic rolled into one package.
When I heard about Unreal Championship coming to the xbox I was extremely excited I still am! I heard about all the new weapons and arenas, it was making me nearly cringe in excitement for the game.
But I am confused now though, in all of theses previews they go on and on about the game being an online multiplayer experience. What I wish to know are there any single player missions? And is there like a fourplayer option to play with your mates in split screen?
I have been led into thinking that the game is online ONLY, which worries me quite a bit. I do like the idea of xbox live, but I still want single player games to play on my own sometimes or with a few mates.
If the game is single/multiplayer/online the game would be awesome! People off this forum who I talk to on MSN messenger say they that we could set up an online "XBOX forum" clan kind of thing, with each member with different abilities such as being a Sniper. That would be really good, but we've got to wait the xbox live to arrive yet.
I am now waiting in anticipation for the game, wanting to play a huge deathmatch!!!

well, if in UC on single player you can only go against bots just blowing them up over and over again...that'll get repeative. i'll wait until UC2 comes out, where some of you guys say there's actual single player misions ;-)
The game is coming out October 25th.
Yeah but release dates slip Garbe. More than anything its just a rough estimation. Overall this game can be expected for when X-Box Live comes along which is rumoured to be around October/November time.
No its not an Xbox live launch title, Xbox live isn't coming out until later this/early next year but Unreal Championship is due out for the end of August/early September! I am not sure about getting it now though.

I am sure there will be bots, if not then why release before Xbox Live becomes available? If there aren't any bots I'll leave this one alone!

If you liked UT on the PC, you'll like UC on the Xbox. It's the same format.
