I just got my shiny new Xbox home, but I can't seem to play dvd's I thought it had dvd capabilities.

Yep, do use the wired game controller to play PS2 games - because it's the only way right now (i think). Wavebird tech looks good, wireless game controller at long last.

All you must do is click 'X' to play. Then you can hide away the cable. Or you could wait a couple of months/years for the Wavebird of the PS2.

Or just waste money on a remote control.

Yes it is a rip of. But, would you really want to use the PS2 DVD player with just the wired game controller? All that cable over the floor!

Nope, you have to buy the DVD playback kit before it can play DVD's.
