Nope, you have to buy the DVD playback kit before it can play DVD's.

And yes you have to trek back into town to buy one..

Yes it is a rip of. But, would you really want to use the PS2 DVD player with just the wired game controller? All that cable over the floor!

It's 30 more quid for the DVD remore - but it does glow in the dark.

So you mean it is radioactive isn't that a bit dangerous.

All you must do is click 'X' to play. Then you can hide away the cable. Or you could wait a couple of months/years for the Wavebird of the PS2.

Or just waste money on a remote control.

Yep, do use the wired game controller to play PS2 games - because it's the only way right now (i think). Wavebird tech looks good, wireless game controller at long last.
