So, MS feels the need to put the much hyped Halo on the PC and Macintosh. How many Ghz will we need Mr. Gates? Truth is they are not shifting enough on XBox, so they need to get onto PC and Mac as well to "boost" the numbers - after all, they need extra money to pay for Halo v2.

Ok, the X-Box isn't a money magnet for Billy Boy, but Halo was always planned to be on the PC. Before Christmas, PC Gamer mag had it down in their listings, but for months now, they had the relise date down as TBA. So it's not just to boost sales for Microsoft.

Microsofts Halo will not need much power as it already works on a mid-ranged PC the Xbox.

Halo started life on the PC, so it was only inevatable it would come back after it's x-box outing.
