I know that Sony are bringing out their PS2 network adaptor which includes Broadband, 56k modem, and hard disc drive (40Gb?). But i have seen reports that said that the UK PS network adaptor will not include the analogue 56k modem. I was looking forward to that, because I can't get broadband where i live, so to be able to use email + the web on the PS2 would have been nice.

It is only a rumour at the moment, but it is a 'semi-official' rumour. The final UK package is currently undecided.

However, I do feel that it would be a big mistake for Sony to launch it here without the 56k modem, as broadband really is not widespread enough in the UK at the moment.
