During a phone interview with KTRH-AM 740 (Houston) on Wednesday night, Bill Goldberg was asked if his fans would see him back in the wrestling ring in the next six months. Goldberg's matter-of-fact response was simply, "I will be back in the ring within 2002." And thus the Goldberg return-to-the-ring watch begins.
During the interview on KTRH's "SportsBeat" show to promote Goldberg's first public autograph appearance in three years this Sunday, July 14 at the Tri-Star Collectors Show in Houston, co-host Kenny Hand recalled his earliest memories of hearing the name Bill Goldberg--from none other than former Atlanta Falcons and Houston Oilers head coach Jerry Glanville, who told Hand at the time how Goldberg "killed people in practice" during his days with the Falcons.
After discussing the fact that his progression from football player to wrestler was not an easy one, Goldberg admitted that while he misses the wrestling scene, especially the fans, he does not follow the current wrestling scene. "I'm as far away from it as humanly possible, only because it's killing me not being there and being a part of it," he said. "I miss the action, I miss the adrenaline, but I miss the fans most of all.

It seems he wants to come back, but if he does, then why does he keep demanding massive wages??
Thoughts??
...wish i'd have seen it!
I mean destroyed. He went through tables, got smacked with chairs, got thrown around the ringside area and even got taken down with lead pipes.
Excellent that was!
:D
"Bill Goldberg as a wrestler is an @sshole, and Bill Goldberg as a person is an @sshole."
