To begin with each character had a total of three(3) moves each. Left Hit, Right Hit, Special. Most of the time each move was nowhere near the character even though you were standing inches away. Bouts went on forever and you could only pull off a special move once your spirit meter had built up, which itself took a hell of a time. Each fight took place in front of one backdrop. A blank featurless wall with a couple of boxes in the corners. That is just about all there was to it. This game was so poor it is just frightning to realise it was actually released.
I remember reading a lot of reviews of the game at the time (about early/middle 90's). The best review score given was 12%. I think that just about sums it all up. What was even more unbelievable was that they released a sequel whiich one magazine gave it a grand total of 0%, how did it get that far???
Has anyone else had a game this bad?
