Well, I don't know if you guys know this (you probably do...)

I was walking through my local WoolWorths today and noticed that WRC is platinum.

In my view WRC is platinum and is a great buy at just £20.

With all authentic cars, teams and rivers. Realistic graphics and driving simularities.

I might be sounding like a salesperson here but this game is very good. GO BUY IT NOW!

that rain effect on colin mcrae 3 is wicked...too bad people won't be able to appreciate it if they don't use the interal view (which is what i use :D)...
still not sure whether i want to get V RALLY 3....could be really frustrating at first from what i've read in magazines...i'm mean i'm all up for a challenge...but if it just ends up being frustrating then i might not bother

I don't think V-Rally 3 is being released on PC, but then again, you never know.

It's very good and from the Colin McRae 3 videos i have seen V rally 3 looks the better game (although they could have been PC version movies)

yeah i have to agree with you vot. i found it far too easy...and even though there were so many track they weren't very interesting or challenging. rallisport challenge on the xbox...but if you don't have a xbox then wait for colin mcrae 3

Damn, I'd get that if I didn't have so much sodding hardware to buy, along with other things:

1 100/10mbit NIC - 25gbp
1 10mbit NIC - 10gbp
1 10-port full duplex 100/10 hub - 60gbp
A few yards of rj45 - 10gbp
Train tickets to Manchester - 15gbp
Satch concert tickets - 20gbp
Train tickets to Saffron Walden - 30gbp

Jesus christ. There's almost certainly more to go on there too.

Yeah, i got that Steering Whell to use on my GT3. It just seems so much better with a Steering Wheel.

I am hoping I win my first GAD soon (well second if you count my last account) so I can get the GTO steering wheel. I could use this with GT3. But my mum might say.

"Since you have a steering wheel, do you want a racing game to play it on?"

then i'll be the happiest person in the world at that moment.

WRC was really quite crap. I was really looking forward to getting it too but when I borrowed it of my mate, I found it was pretty much dismal. It was so easy and the handling just seemed so unrealistic. I mean, you take a hairpin at 100mph without even touching the brake. Got really repetitive too. My advice is to wait for Colin Mcrae 3.

The PS2 seems to be getting allot of rally games over the next few months, and all of them are looking good. I would say V-Rally 3 is looking like a much better purchase at the moment, but I have always to try out WRC especially sinse it was the PS2s first true rally sim. At £20 it may be worth checking out and seeing if is as good as I hope it will be. I';ll be putting it on my list anyway.
