Well, in the 'If you are listening to music at this very moment...' topic I told people to get a song entitled 'Seraph' by a UK band called Heroes For Sale. They are unsigned and I heard the song on a comilation CD for unsigned underground bands. Well, I sent the band an interview through E-mail, and they replied. They also gave me some information on getting a hold of their latest demo CD.

So, you can see the interview with them on my site ( www.unitepunk.tk OR www.unitepunk.vze.com ) and here is some info on the CD.

It is called 'When Nothing Seems Like Everything' and the track listing is as follows:

1. seraph
2. thriving on grey areas
3. fenix
4. spineless
5. landing lights

More info and lyrics on the CD and the band is at www.heroesforsale.co.uk so check it out.

Anyway, you can get a hold of the CD by sending £2 (cash or cheque) to the following:

James East,
West Dene Lodge,
Bradford Road,
East Ardsley,
Wakefield,
WF3 2DG.

This statement about the CD from the band: "It's only a CDR but it's a proper jewel case with extremely high quality full colour booklet and printed CD and looks like it should be in the shops. It's nearly a year old now unfortunately, and doesn't feature our current drummer, so I'll let you know just as soon as we finish the new material for this split release with bodybug."

So check em out and support a band from the UK underground. It's only £2 and the track 'Seraph' is worth that price alone!

Erm... well I've only heard 2 tracks so far, but the track 'Seraph' is a kind of hardcore emo song with dual vocals (one melodic emo style and the other raw screamo style) to great effect... the track is really really good.

The other track I've heard is called 'Spineless' and although it is not so good in my opinion, it is still a pretty good track, drawing on metal influences and with a hardcore edge. It doesn't cross over into that nu-metal stuff either so you needn't worry about that... :D

Anyway, it's only two quid for a five track EP... When I get the demo I'll post a review of it up on here somewhere... But c'mon, two quid... you can afford that with your high paid SR wages surely :-)

OK, tell us what they sound like and I may well send a bob or two their way if they sound interesting.

Mexcellent.

Anyone else? I'll try to send a couple of quid off today or tomorrow and then I should be able to review the CD on my site, and I may just post the review up here too.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
