Sorry to keep going on about this, but what's the most secret hidden thingy you've ever found in GTA3? Today I flew the Dodo over the dam and over the hills behind and found a hidden street. I tried to land, but crashed. I'm guessing you can follow the street to somewhere hidden. I also flew the Dodo to the top of the casino, where there's a swimming pool and some trees, but it's just a picture and you fall straight through it. Apparently it's the same with the lighthouse on Portland. The Dodo really is an excellent feature in this excellent game.

I found a secret Island. When you fly into it a weird messege comes up saying, "Welcome to the Past!" then it all warps and these people are wearing animal skins and are grunting instead of talking. then if you fly out of here, a T-Rex runs after you ad gobbles you up. I cant get away. I wish I could cause it just leaves you at shoreside vale hospital agai. darn!

why do you think i put the smiley there?
duh :)
and when people tell things that are true they don't use words like "gobbles you up".

But still, it would be cool if that was true :D

The "You weren't supposed to be able to get here you know" sign in Staunton Island... I actually posted how to get there on UKCheats, but it was when SR's SQL was mucking about, so it didn't register. Can't be bothered to resubmit it all at the minute, had a few instructions for getting to the top of Donald Love's building, the hidden sea cave etc.

The sign is in the little enclosed car park opposite the front of love media, y'know the little alleyway that opens into a small parking area with some garages? Go in there, back facing the garage doors, and you'll be looking at a few skips lined up along a wall which is infront of some flats with fire escape stairs. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get over that wall - once you do, the sign is directly infront of you at the back-left corner. Either reverse a van against the skips and use it as steps, or activate the handling cheat, then in a decent fast car start driving towards the wall, and push down on L3 to make it jump the thing.

Well...I spent ages trying and I've finally gone done it! You can get behind the mountains that tower over Cochrane Dam by flying the Dodo the wrong way down the shorter runway and then veering right. Follow the cliffs and eventually you go behind them. Incidentally, the programmers have left some rather amusing, if a tad rude, place names there that you can only see on the radar thingy in the bottom left. You'll be flying INSIDE the mountains, so be careful. There's also a small street, which I think is from the opening cut scene to the game. Enjoy!

Here's mine:

The radar in the bottom left of the screen shows yellow in some places and black in others. The black areas are mainly roads, but there is one on the edge of Staunton Island leading into the water, by the coast near the hospital. Go into the subway by the hospital there and follow the track round, on foot, until you reach that point on the radar. It is advised that you grab a shield first, as this trick will reduce 50% health. Stand on the correct track so that the train runs you over. All done correctly, you will fall through the ground onto a track. Follow the track round and you will notice that wherever there is a black bit on the radar, there is this track. Follow it round and look up. You will see cars driving through the air. Destroy some of them until you get the cops after you. They can't get you, but can see you. Kill them even more until you get the army after you for a great laugh! Watch out for glitchs though. The screen will sometimes go blue if you walk for a certain amount of time without stopping. This will make the track dissapear. When this happens, if you stop, you'll stay where you are. But if you carry on moving, you will "fall" back into the normal game.
