This deal had been going on for weeks but it has finally happened. After the ankle problem was all cleared up. Newcastle Manager Bobby Robson comfirmed the signing of young Titus Bramble from Ipswitch. The fee is reported to be around £4.5 Million.

Bargain! But with little European experience, he may not be able to assist his new side in all areas like the defender they should be looking for.
Still, he's a great player with a lot of potential still to show.
And by playing with the likes of Shearer and Dyer week-in week-out, that'll surely boost his chances of improving and gaining better recognition by the England manager in the future.
I think he's replacing Dabizas - am I right??
And you never know, he could turn-out to be the next Rio Ferdinand!

Of course, if it was a youngster like him moving to a big club in Spain, Italy or Germany it would only be £2 million the team that was purchasing him would get him for.

4.5 million? what a bargain? Sir Bobby knows his football, ive always been impressed by Bramble, especially in the Uefa Cup last season. Im suprised he was'nt snapped up sooner by one of the premiership sides. Considering he is so young, thats a cracking buy, especially as he has England potential.
