Pachelbel's Canon in D was used in the film Ordinary People (the choir scene) back in 1980, if you haven't seen that one then more recently it was used in Wedding Crashers (2005).

If you think you've heard it in a videogame, it's probably because it's included in the Gran Turismo 4 soundtrack.

Snake, like I said it's Canon by Mozart. I just don't see Final Fantasy having that as a song, though I might be wrong.

No, I remember all the final fantasy 7, 8 10, a *shudders* x-2. Its none of them anyway.
It reminds me a bit of one of the balamb garden tunes though.
