Mr Brosnan enters
Fern Britain: It’s a delight to have you on the show Mr Brosnan
Brosnan: I’m sure it is my good chap, its Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan by the way.
John Leslie: Yes, indeed. Now Mr Brosnan could you tell us a little bit about Die Another Day, the twentieth film in the Bond series.
Brosnan: Of course, but let me first check that we are not being bugged.
(Brosnan flips up the top of his watch to reveal…a digital clock. He starts pretending to scan the room.)
Leslie: Ha Ha Ha that’s very good, now the film…”
Brosnan: What film is that? (Winking many times)
Britain: Why are you winking at me? (Brosnan holds his finger up to his lips and points at the watch telling her to carry on)
Ah right, secret agent an all that.
Brosnan stops moving the watch.
Brosnan: I think we’re safe; it’s an incredible little device. R made it for me you know.
Britain: I was going to ask you about that, after the tragic death of Desmond Llewellyn, how do you think the character dynamics between your character and John Clease’s R differ from that between Bond and Q?
Brosnan: I’m sorry I’ve never heard of these people.
Leslie: But he is your friend?
Brosnan: Q is retired, R has taken over and as for these names that you keep bringing up I can only imagine that you have found out their real names, M will have to be told at once they could be in grave danger.
Leslie: I’m sorry, let’s move on, how was it working with such an acclaimed actress such as Halle Berry.
Brosnan: Let’s just say, she was shaken and stirred.
Britain: But isn’t Miss Berry with someone else?
Brosnan: Well that may be the case but she just couldn’t resist me.
Leslie: Ok, well here is a clip of you and Miss Berry in action.
A clip from the film plays
Brosnan: Hang on just one minute, where did you get this. We didn’t give you permission to film this. It’s an invasion of privacy I tell you. I have a license to kill you know.
Britain: You do know you’re not actually James Bond don’t you Mr Brosnan?
Brosnan: Yes, yes of course, what are you trying to suggest. Now I must be going, the world needs saving, apparently some moron is going to make a terrible film I have to see if I can get the lead if I don’t then the role might be given to David Hassellhoff
Leslie: That’s Mr Pierce Brosnan ladies and gentleman.
Brosnan stands and starts to run, gathering speed he leaps out of the This Morning window.
Leslie: Now that’s very 007.
