Every-one is talking about the Playstation 2 “Oh, its gonna be the best console ever”. If you ask me the Gamecube and the gamboy advance are both going to out sell the “Playstatation 2”
But what I really want to know is “what will be nintendo’s and Sony’s next consoles be? Will they work together and make one between them and split the money. Or maybe next time Nintendo will go ahead with the Dolphin? (I hope so). Will Sony scrap the idea of consoles all together or will it be the Playstation 3 hit the console chart. Maybe it’ll even have a completely new name like Nintendo have done with the Gamecube”.
It would be nice if Sega could battle back but they need some ideas because the Sega Saturn really didn’t sell all that well. If Sega really want to get back to pole position they are going to need to really work at it, the Dreamcast is getting there but at the moment it hasn’t sold like N64 or the Playstation.
We’ve all heard of Microsofts new console the ‘X BOX’ maybe we will soon be introduced to IBM’s ‘I BOX’.
In the future Sony’s other rivals such as Phillips or Matsui may even decide to join the consoles with a console of their own. (Now we’re getting some where).
I think it would be brilliant if a new age of gaming was introduced like a game where you are a movie director and you could make your own movie from scratch. I would make a Perfect Dark action hero movie.
Or could Kodak make the first ever digital camera console. You could take a picture and load the on to a game so you could have Mario with your head or maybe even have some features of your girlfriend loaded onto a character. Or say on a car racing game you could take a picture of your best car, load it up and race in your favourite car.
What about Nokia makes the first ever mobile phone console. You can still phone your mates and annoy old people with your doggy ring tones and play your little games like ‘snake’ but you can also play on your console, maybe you could even down-load games off the I-net.
I think this would all be great because then there would be a great selection of consoles to choose from with a variety of new games. Just think all of this could actually happen, and wouldn’t it be great if it did.

GBA moght not sell at all if it's games cost over £25. (I won't buy one if this happens anyway!)
The GBA will not out sell the PS2, and the Gmaecube probably won't either, due to the PSX's success. And hopefully, it's brilliant graphics, gameplay, games and much more!!! Hopefully. And yes, it would be COOLL!!! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
Firstly, Dolphin is the old name for the Gamecube (although Nintendo might make another console with this name in the future)
Secondly, don't forget Dreamcast.
Thirdly, One games console maker would push console prices up as there would be no competition, and a lot of companies making consoles would mean that at least two of them would die a death unless they had something really different to the opposition, as the market can only hold a certain amount of consoles (it's to do with the amount of money people have, the amount of third party support and support of the brand name and also the shelf space in shops, among other things)
Onehundredandninthly, I'd like to see a mobile phone games machine but with cheap internet through the phone. Nintendo have already linked their Gameboys to mobiles, so it's just one step forward from there. Anyway, Sega are rumoured to be making a Sonic game for mobiles.

I quite like the idea of having other electronics makers joining in on making consoles but think of this. At the moment the debate is over PS2 Gamecube and maybee Dolphin. Think what could happen if we haveloads of consoles people could be even more confused. I like the idea of having loads of consoles but how many is enough before we all go mad. I think all your points are relevant and the phone sounds good it would make school lessons more exciting sitting with a phone under the table playing mario or a racing game definetly good!!!!!!
