How do I set a password on my computer to work when I turn it on, without Windows already starting, I can set the Users password but you can select cancel and still get on the computer, I want the one so you cant get on at all.

I have a Packard Bell PC and Windows ME...

Any help well appreciated.

Cheers.

It's not always the "Del" key (though it may be on Dell PC's) - sometimes it's F1 or F2 (like mine).

You would be right. Just enter the bios just after you've turned the computer on, then go to passwords or something. It's all pretty easy, you should be able to blag it without a problem.
