Yikes, it's been nearly 3 weeks without the ability to post here. Now I'm back, and guess what? I've probably got to stop posting again!
They say that life's a balance of good and bad (not evil, of course, but that's part of the deal). Well, since I got a nice free ticket to New York for a week (to learn to use a new system for my work) I've had to pay for it in training everyone else how to use the system before we put it in place this wednesday. It's been a hard slog over the past 2 weeks, but I can honestly say it was well worth it for the chance to get to the US and look around.
Of course, my working late shifts and training has meant that I've had no time to come on here. Weekends were no exception, with my grandfather's 90th birthday celebrations and so much to catch up on with relatives it's been a fun but exhausting few weeks there too.
Still, I find myself facing another long slog and even less time online. I will try if I can to get here, my favorite site and the most interesting place on the net, I can't stay without it for ever! Rest assured that I'm still reading your stuff, especially Stryke's excellent Aliboy's Diary entries which have kept me entertained on my breaks.
In the meantime, I'm off to use my fingers some more in a typing fashion...
