Hi i was just looking through my brand new SR mag and i saw this game with a black dot next to it and didn't know what it was so i came on here and saw that it was being released in November.
Is it that thing which i hear where you will be able to play as Snake through The Plant.
So does anyone know what this game will be like i am guessing it will just be a rush job and won't be very good but i could be wrong.

There's loads more than just that.
200+ VR missions
100+ Seperate missions (based in game locations but seperate from the plot)
Play as eaither character for either chapter (and with the High Freqency Blade too!) and bonus characters too.
Plus some more. Although no-one will want to buy it again, unless it comes as just an add-on disc, then I would.

its a totally different game (except for the areas you play in.

It is now confirmed that it will not be in the game. It is a scene from a new skateboarding game which has Snake as a secret character. Check on SR news, it's a little way back now.

I still haven't got MGS2 yet, and I'm glad I haven't. Now I just have to wait a few months until the bigger, and better version comes out.
Not at all! The game is esentially a director's cut of the original MGS2. As well as being able to play as Snake in the whole game, there are meant to be plenty of new bits. For example, the E3 demo showed Snake skateboarding around the plant in a Tony Hawk's style game! (Although whether that'll make the game is unknown).
Certainly good for people who don't own the game already, and Xbox owners.
