I have a Celeron 433MHz running Win98 Plus and I have a Trio 3D/2X AGP graphics card. Trouble is, Win98 doesn;t recognize the card under My Computer/Control Panel/System. It just says "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)." Why does it do this, and how can I get the card recognized? It was working until I had a HDD error and had to wipe it clean. Now that I've reinstalled Win98, the problem has started. I can only view in 16-colour, 640x800 pixels.

Right click on 'My Computer' click on 'Properties' then 'Device Manager' tab at the top.
If anything has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark in it, it means you havn't installed the drivers for it, or it's 'unknown' all you have to do is lcik on it and install the drivers, it usually has a little bit of information on it so you can tell what piece of hardware it is, e.g. soundcard, modem..etc, you'll have to re-install ALL the drivers for everything to go back to normal.

goto http://support.lan-plus.com/drivers/video_cards/ and download the dirvers for it
