I have a Celeron 433MHz running Win98 Plus and I have a Trio 3D/2X AGP graphics card. Trouble is, Win98 doesn;t recognize the card under My Computer/Control Panel/System. It just says "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)." Why does it do this, and how can I get the card recognized? It was working until I had a HDD error and had to wipe it clean. Now that I've reinstalled Win98, the problem has started. I can inly view in 16-colour, 640x800 pixels.

You should have gotten a copy of it on Disc/CD when you brought the card (or with the computer if the card was inthe machine when you bought it)

Otherwise, just pop over to the manufaturers web site and grab it from there...

You never know, you may even end up with a more up to date driver?

Could be a major problem...that nearly happened with most of the hardware on my old computer when I tried to uninstall then re-install windows.

The only way I could actually sort it out was to use the original recovery diskette that I had with my computer. If you weren't given a restore disc when the computer was bought, then you could be stuck.
