this was a letter to me enquiring about exactly when the confirmation letters will be sent out. This will definately make anyone who pre-ordered on the 7th very happy!!!

I can't say exactly when the final letter will be sent. However, these
letters will begin to be dispatched in approximately one week from now. As
you pre-ordered very early, you should be one of the first people to
receive this letter.
If you would like to e-mail me in about a week, I may be able to give you
more information.

Does this mean that anyone who pre-ordered on the 7th or a couple of days after, and who pre-ordered on line early will get one of the first letters saying that they have a release day PS2? I think so!

Is this the first hole in the SCEE armour? Are they about to open the information floodgates? Your post is certainly encouraging, even for the likes of my who pre-ordered a little late.
I had a similar reply this morning, but "COLIN" said that although he could not give me a specific date, i should be encouraged by the fact that i was one of the earliest to pre-order from the store in Porthmadog, and that i should receive my letter in about a week.
