Will computer games soon be regurgitated like the pop chart with the same thing coming out week after week in hope of chart success?
In the music chart the No. 1 is a hard fought contest with artists fighting it out to become number 1 and have a small amount of glory before it gets knocked off the chart a week later by a boy band singing a song which you could swear you heard a few years prior.
Could this be the reality that the computer games chart is going to face. At the moment there is a games chart but it is not as widley publisised as that of the pop world. Could it soon be that huge computer companies will fight it out in a weekly battle to become number 1 producing thousands of games per year in the hope that they will be number 1 for one week. Will it be that the individual go un-noticed with a game that betters that of it's corporate cometitors in every sense but people still go out and buy the games from big companies.
Imagine if you will that there is a huge rush to be computer games chart No.1 for christmas with the big companies bringing out hundreds of games to try and get that vital No.1
