This. Track. Is. Beautiful.
I have been listening to it, over and over again. Its lovely.
Its odd how a nasal-ish voice can sound so good. (if you think of bands like Blink 182, who's singing really GETS ON MY T**S)
Billy Corgan has a great voice, and its interesting to see how it developes from Gish to its climax on Machina. D'arcy Wretsky is a good bassist, James Iha is an excellent guitarist and Jimmy Chamberlain is an amazing drummer as I have mentioned before.
For Martha was about Corgans dead mother, who died shortly after Mellon Collie was recorded.
Sniff.

Sorry! Hehe!
;)
Listening to For Martha again............lovely piano intro......calm, collected........nice. I still love 'To Sheila' Its great singing, and perhaps it sums up what I like best about them - They can play instruments to high heaven (Silverfuck/Tales Of Scorched Earth/ The wonderful 'This Time and many more) but they can also vocalise a bit more than most bands.
Yeah, its a pretty sweeeeet song.
Perfect is a cool song too. (i'm listening to it at the moment)
