I am a huge fan of 1st person shooters and so of course went out to buy sof2 , and was very disappointed. The levels are well created and plotted well but there is something very wrong with the perspective. It feels weird, I think the problem is with the design and movement of the lead character and the positioning of the weapons which is different in this came and makes it feel more clumsy and less playable than other shooters.

The only problem I found with SOF 2 are those pointless stealth missions, due to the enemy A.I. who always spot you. Otherwise I think it's a great action game that is completely unoriginal and linear, but bloody fun.

I agree with the topic, this game got nothing but praise in reviews, yet when I first played it I was very disappointed. I've got to the third level so far and its still rubbish. Unless it gets a whole lot better, I feel I have wasted my money. If you buy one game out recently, I'd recommend jedi outcast.

i completely take back my statement! i love this game all though the first area is quite crappy. I got so addicted to this game once i got used to it i just sat down and played it solidly, then felt so disappointed when i had finished it because there was no more. I hope my foolishness didn't put anyone of buying it!

a little less accuracy is all as it should be.

Anyone who's ever fired a gun can tell you that anything further than a couple of metres away is actually quite hard to hit on a reflex.

I think perhaps it's because the weapons move around now when your firing them, that makes them less accurate, the crosshair and FPS seems no different from the first game, but it's certainly harder to hit your targets now in this game.

Can't say I've noticed this myself, the game feels right as a FPS for me, though I suppose we all have our different takes on how games play.
