Haven't actually got albums by any of them, sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away all weekend enjoying a shiny new GameCube :D
Anyway, from what I hear, the new Goldfinger album is quite good, but if you want a lot of ska, then their older stuff is supposed to be better...
Aside from Gldfinger I haven't heard much from those bands, I think bowling for soup are actually getting quite big though?

Got the Stroke 9 album recently. Wasn't that enamoured with the sound of the band at first (I could imagine Ross and Rachel drinking coffee to them in Central Perk) but they have some good songs. After a few listens I started really liking them though. Remind me a bit of stuff like Buffalo Tom and other melodic US alt-rock that I used to listen to.
